Virtualised Human II focused on the fusion between human and technology by implementing online avatars, as they can be interpreted the extension of our body online. The thin fabric formed a circular space, which served as a platform to digitise the viewers. The projection distorts the viewer’s features to simulate the ideal selves distributed to our online identities. The distortion exists for the viewers inside and outside the sculptural space. Our mind associates online avatars with humans, despite their digital existence, through online avatars, the acceptance of other digital entities could be possible.
