What would happen if I left a QR code somewhere? Will someone scan it? My peers and I were curious as I was able to track the number of scans my QR codes received. I purposefully left a QR code everywhere I went which unintentionally became a travel log. These travel logs are not totally genuine however as I wouldn’t have entered certain places if not for this project. Surprisingly, some did scan my QR code three times. The stranger who scanned it was probably confused as the QR code reveal a close up of Uncompleted by Design; which has been taken out of its context. The documentation was produced using my phone which emphases the convenience of modern technology.
There are potentials for this project to develop as I could create an opportunity for the viewer to respond to my work once they scanned the QR code.
